Marie Brewer, FNP-C, epitomizes professional excellence as a family nurse practitioner with a robust educational and clinical background. An alumnus of Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, Ms. Brewer was distinguished with an athletic scholarship and procured a Bachelor of Arts in Corporate Communication, with a specialization in Public Relations. Her aspirations in the healthcare domain propelled her to acquire a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northern Kentucky University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2005. Further cementing her academic achievements, Ms. Brewer attained her Master of Science in Nursing with Summa Cum Laude distinction from The University of Phoenix in 2021.

Her clinical journey commenced at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Edgewood, Kentucky, where she specialized in orthopedics as a registered nurse. In 2008, Ms. Brewer relocated to Arizona, enhancing her clinical expertise in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center, Phoenix. There, she delivered critical care to patients navigating the recovery process from cardiac events and surgeries. Recognizing a broader spectrum of patient care, she expanded her proficiency by contributing to both the Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit. Her passion for knowledge transfer led her to mentor nursing and paramedic students, as well as to orient new staff members.

Ms. Brewer holds certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and maintains an active membership with the Sigma Theta Tau National Honor Society, underscoring her commitment to nursing excellence.

Ms. Brewer’s career trajectory evolved as she assumed the role of a Clinical Education Specialist for Emergency and Trauma services, an endeavor that garnered her a nomination for the prestigious March of Dimes 2015 Nurse of the Year in Education. In 2016, she rejoined direct patient care as a night shift charge nurse in the Intensive Care Unit with Dignity Health, reaffirming her dedication to patient-centric care.

Prior to joining our team, Ms. Brewer honed her expertise at The Fitzmaurice Hand Institute, where she specialized in the management of a comprehensive array of acute and chronic upper extremity conditions.

A native of Orange County, California, Ms. Brewer found her home in Arizona’s Valley of the Sun in 2007. Outside of her professional responsibilities, she is a devoted mother to two exceptional sons who infuse her life with vitality. An avid sports enthusiast with a love for the great outdoors, Ms. Brewer cherishes her time with friends and family, which remains integral to her personal well-being.
