SPRAVATO® (esketamine) is a revolutionary treatment option for adults suffering from Major Depressive Disorder (MDD). It is the first and only NMDA receptor antagonist that has been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of two specific subtypes of MDD: treatment-resistant depression (TRD) and depressive symptoms in adults with MDD with acute suicidal ideation or behavior.
